International Tiger Day has been held on the 29th of July every year since 2010 when it was first created at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit. This was done to raise awareness of the decline of wild tiger numbers, leaving them on the brink of extinction and to encourage the celebration of the important work of Tiger conservation.

Take a quiz to test your understanding of tigers and their conservation.

The winner will get a one-year subscription to the digital edition of Sanctuary Asia Magazine.

A certificate also will be provided to all who score above the cut-off
