Countries develop and prosper often at the expense of the environment, wildlife and conservation land. Poorly planned agriculture extension and urbanisation lead to loss of critical wildlife habitats, degradation of forests, rivers and grasslands which ultimately resulted in the loss of the country’s ecosystem upon which people and wildlife both depend. Eco-development is a multidisciplinary multi-stakeholder strategy used for biodiversity conservation. The success of such a program depends on the ability of planners to identify the complex issues involved in conservation and to integrate these to the overall planning process of the country. This webinar is intended to have an insight into this interesting aspect of Wildlife conservation.
